Family Strategies for Mitigating the Long-Term Effects of the Pandemic
The Covid-19 pandemic has upended our daily lives. The months continue to pass and the future remains uncertain. Join this webinar to discuss the possible long-term psychological effects on children and families. In this discussion format, we’ll share our questions and concerns. Is your child becoming addicted to their screens? Have their social and emotional skills stalled or regressed? Do you feel that your family has the coping skills and supports you need to persevere? Families are different and we know that it’s never “one size fits all.” Join us as we share our experiences and concerns. Subjects which may be covered:

• Coping skills for kids and parents for managing difficult feelings (anxiety/worry, sadness, loneliness)
• Finding joy despite the circumstances
• Dealing with uncertainty
• Reading the room and following my children’s cues
• Other issues raised by parents
