2020 saw some consultancies and agencies flourish, while others stagnated or went under. We're seeing more of the same in 2021. And both scenarios make tougher demands on leaders than ever.
We need to balance profit (and cash flow) with the physical and mental wellbeing of our teams. We’re in a recession, but one with an expected healthy bounceback. We’re navigating volatile and unpredictable demand from clients. And looming large is the expectation from our teams (and society) to build our companies with values and purpose that positively impact community and environment.
It’s a heady mix. And with this level of complexity, we need to navigate through the highest probability moves to both survive, and come out strong. We need to find ways to bring our trajectories under our control and give our teams (and ourselves!) confidence.
In these intimate, max 6 person workshops, we'll do two things:
1. Summarise a framework for scaling a company to meet its goals;
2. Tackle one important question from each participant.
This will be both a peer session, and a coaching one. My own experience is leading through crisis and recovery, from from startup to acquiring, to IPO and trade sale, from £0 to 9 figures and teams of 2 to 500. And always centred on values, purpose and strategy.
