Are you remote learning or homeschooling this year?
Blue Hill Heritage Trust and Island Heritage Trust are teaming up to offer monthly zoom sessions to share ideas, free resources, and a platform to network for families this year during the pandemic.
Landere, BHHT outreach coordinator, and Martha Bell, IHT environmental educator, will cohost and facilitate these sessions along with a special community guest.
What Will We Offer?
Some of the many resources we will share include trail/preserve activities and scavenger hunts, storytelling resources, backyard nature study tips, inaturalist plant inventory projects, birding activities, nature photography, and more.
Join us to learn more about place-based learning opportunities, and all that our lovely peninsula has to offer during different seasons of the year! We also welcome suggestions from participants on these zoom calls so that a cross-pollination of ideas can keep happen as well.
When and Where?
The sessions will take place on zoom meeting the 1st Friday of each month at 10am. Links are below. We ask participants to preregister so that we can best prepare for our group! We will also record these sessions so that you can view them later and share with friends!
