The Badger Bounceback Live Session on What’s Best for Our Kids will cover topics such as ensuring every kid has access to a high-quality, public education, providing mental health supports for students at schools, special education reimbursement rates, expanding access to early childhood education and childcare, and investing in our higher education institutions.

The Badger Bounceback Live Sessions will provide the governor with opportunities to hear directly from Wisconsin families and workers on the topics within the governor’s budget that impact them and their communities.

The budget conversation will begin with all participants in a large group meeting where they will hear from both Governor Evers and Lieutenant Governor Barnes. After the introduction, all participants will be automatically moved to small group breakout rooms where they can have a more in-depth discussion on various budget topics.

Staff from the governor and lieutenant governor's offices will be in the breakout room to help facilitate discussion and take notes, along with members of the governor’s cabinet, administration staff, and state legislators. The governor and lieutenant governor will be joining the smaller group discussions throughout the evening.
