Inspiring Impact North East - Topic 2

This is the second session in a 3 part series of online workshops about impact management for VCSE sector organisations from the North East of England.

The series is being run by Inspiring Impact delivery partner SVUK in collaboration with our Inspiring Impact Regional Partner for the North East: Vonne and Social Enterprise Acumen CIC

This session will focus on ‘How to gather impact data – Qualitative or Quantitative? / An introduction to methods’.
In the first session we looked at the importance of making decisions from the data we are gathering. In this session, we will look at how to gather our data. Particularly in the current climate our activities, and our data gathering practices may have changed significantly, and so we may need to assess what data we are gathering and how we are getting this data. This session will be looking at:
• expanding our ideas about what acceptable data sources are
• whether this should be qualitative or quantitative (or both!)
• engaging with our stakeholders in times of crisis / physical distance.
• safe and ethical data management practice

The session will be 1 hour 30 mins and involve presentations, group discussions, and resource sharing.

The final session in the series will look at:

Session 3: Acting for impact - Working practices and organisational culture.
