The HR Alliance Board of Directors has launched Wednesday online IDEA EXCHANGES that are open (available) to all HR leaders in the District, Maryland and Virginia. The objective is to provide opportunities for HR leaders to come together and share ideas, strategies and practices to help our profession, our employers and our peers successfully maneuver during these uncertain times.
IDEA EXCHANGES are not seminars, sales pitches or formal programs. They are open platforms for professional dialogue during which breakout sessions will allow exploration of specific topics and group sharing for all participants. The IDEA EXCHANGE, facilitated by an HR Alliance Board or Committee member, will allow participants to specifically discuss a particular topic.
Topic: Looking Toward the Fall
- Regarding the issue of working parents – looking back on what your organization did in the spring when schools and day care centers shut down, what is your organization planning for the fall that may be different or more innovative to address the needs of this population while not ignoring those that have different circumstances?
- The fall is often viewed as a transition on many levels – what is your organization doing to transition and engage all staff as we transition to the last 4 months of 2020 knowing that 2021 is very much an unknown?
Staff Note: The first 100 people who join on Wednesday morning will be able to participate in our MID-WEEK ONLINE IDEA EXCHANGE.
