When dealing with grief and loss it’s always important to know that this journey for black lives has always been different. Black people are currently going through a tremendous amount of loss...from the disproportionate COVID death tolls to the murders at the hands of racist police we embark on a journey filled with anger, depression, fear and isolation...and although we acknowledge our ancestors and hold space for them culturally differently than others in America. Systemic oppression has caused us to talk about loss and process our loss collectively, less. You are not alone. Here we want to hold safe space for black people that have been lost and come together to find all we can GAIN. This is a free, confidential, black only space.
Join us bi-weekly with Grief counselor, Katherine Searcy, Sundays at 1:00pm starting June 14th.
