In 2020, CTD is taking RYV! online. Join us as we prepare for the 2021 legislature, both educating each other about the issues AND learning how to organize online. We expect this program to change and evolve based on the needs of the participants, so we hope you'll share your feedback about the online RYV! experience after this session and others!
This launch will give a high level overview of our policy priorities for 2021 and give participants chance to share with CTD and each other how the COVID-19 pandemic has changed or reinforced their own policy priorities (plan on talking to each other!). We envision this to be the start of many more policy and organizing conversations through the end of the year.
Please note: Zoom meetings will function best if you download the program or app onto your desktop, laptop, tablet, or smart phone. We are testing call-in function to ensure that folks calling in by dial phone are able to participate as well.
Some accessibility notes: the main room of the meeting will be closed captioned. We will be using the breakout rooms as well, so please indicate in your registration if you need the captions to follow you into the breakout room.
Session agenda and graphics, as well as Zoom resources for beginners, will be emailed to you ahead of time at the address you provide below.
We are not relying heavily on visuals and will be audio describing along the way, to make this session accessible for visually impaired folks and those calling in by phone.
We will provide some resources for new Zoom users and will open the room at 1:50 to help anyone who wants to run a tech check or practice Zoom functions. 1-on-1 tech assistance throughout the session will also be available.
If you have other accommodations requests (or suggestions!), including ASL interpretation, please indicate them in your registration below.
