A series of weekly guided mindfulness practice sessions starting on Thursdays from 18th June 2020, 6-7pm UK time. These sessions are open to anyone who would like to connect and practise mindfulness with others to help manage their wellbeing, stay present and make good choices in the midst of the Coronavirus outbreak.
The sessions are offered freely, although we invite you to make a donation for each session to the UK National Emergencies Trust Coronavirus Appeal via the Mindfulness Sussex JustGiving Page here https://www.justgiving.com/mindfulnesssussex
The sessions will include guided meditation practices, discussion of the experience, benefits and challenges of practising mindfulness in the current situation, and will offer an opportunity to meet, support and share experience with others who would like to practise mindfulness meditation.during this time.

Please note: These sessions are designed for people who want to find ways of working with stress more effectively and increase their overall awareness, well-being and capacity to flourish in the midst of life's challenges. Mindfulness meditation gently invites us to move towards experiences (including difficulties) in order to be work with them more skilfully, and this can be challenging as well as rewarding. If you have current mental health problems such as a major depressive episode, severe anxiety, untreated post-traumatic stress disorder or psychosis, or have experienced a recent bereavement, are actively addicted to alcohol or drugs or are suffering from a current trauma, mindfulness meditation may not be right for you at this time.
