Too often, the last person that helping professionals nurture and protect is themselves. This neglect undermines healthy practice and can harm our clients, our organizations, our families, and ourselves. We will tackle the costs of self-neglect, from stress and eroding health to compassion fatigue and job burnout, and engage in some strong, meaningful ways in which professionals can protect themselves and each other.
