What exactly is “cancel and call-out culture”? How do I respond when someone cancels me or calls me out? Where’s the line when raising important issues turns into blaming and shaming? And how can our faith traditions help us discern when we cross that line?
The Guibord Center - Religion Inside Out and IslamiCity welcome you to a new season of storytelling and guided conversation about real-life issues we encounter in working to heal our world. In this session, people from various spiritual and ethical traditions will share about their encounters with cancel and call-out culture. You’ll have a chance to share your own stories in a small group. We’ll talk about the wisdom we find in our traditions and reflect on how to apply it in our own lives.
The Guibord Center is an interfaith organization dedicated to opening hearts and minds. We’re partnering with IslamiCity, a global Muslim e-community, to bring together people with rich spiritual backgrounds and diverse perspectives for this second season of conversations on the challenges in healing our world.
