Brian Fitzgerald, Mount Washington Observatory’s Director of Science & Education, will discuss the Observatory’s climate data, climate change on Mt. Washington, and the summit's data relationship to this global phenomenon.
Situated atop the 6,288-foot summit of Mt. Washington, the non-profit Mount Washington Observatory (MWO) operates a weather station that has been gathering weather data around the clock since 1932. Using human measurement and verification, it has amassed one of North America's longest-running climate records.
