NEM 2023: STEMPowered

The Biotechnology Student Society (BioSS) of Centennial College has put together an engaging and informative 3-day virtual event that will give students a better understanding of the STEM fields STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) and inspire them to pursue their passions.

Over the course of three days, we will cover the basics of biotechnology, from its history to current trends in the industry.
On March 29 & 30th: we will be hosting guest speakers and interesting seminars for high school students
On March 31st: we are hosting a fun STEM-based workshop targeted to middle school students.

This 3-day virtual seminar is packed with learning opportunities and fun activities, perfect for students. Not only will they have the chance to learn more about biotechnology, but they will also have the chance to win prizes!
