Extracting EV Battery Minerals from Mine Waste

We will hold a mini-conference to inform post-secondary students, the community, and youth about research, careers and associated post-secondary programs that contribute to the development of batteries for electric vehicles.

The half-day event is hybrid (in-person and virtual) and will be open to interested high-school classes and the public. Speakers will include professionals from the exploration and mining industry as well as researchers and professors from the local university & colleges.
