Abstract – The much anticipated James Webb Space Telescope, after creating a step change in space telescope technology, and several delays, was launched on December 25th, 2021.  After a long wait while the telescope transferred to its final orbit, unfolded itself and all of its systems and instruments were commissioned and tested, it finally has started to take science data. The first results look awsome!

We will take a look at the James Webb Telescope: Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow.  We will look at the work that went into getting the telescope to its observation location, what it has done so far, and where it may go from here.
