What you can do about COP26
The UK is due to host the 26th UN Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP26) in Glasgow on 1 to 12 November 2021. The summit will bring parties together in order to accelerate action towards the goals of the Paris Agreement and the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change. It is widely regarded as pre-eminent opportunity to influence the world’s climate agenda.

This very practical one-hour workshop will focus on what COP26 is about, and how we can each contribute in influencing politicians and world leaders regarding their approach to Climate change.

Rachel is a passionate advocate for climate action, who has been embedded in politics, faith, and climate since graduating from the University of Cambridge with a BA in Philosophy. She started her career on the 'political inside’, working in an MPs office in the House of Commons. Her current roles include: COP26 Liaison Lead at Faith for the Climate; Theology and Churches Officer at A Rocha International; and Faith Outreach Lead at Hope for the Future.
