The Third Thursday Lunch program for April will feature Charles Booker, former representative to the Kentucky General Assembly. He will speak on “Hood to the Holler,” a grassroots advocacy program that he founded, which brings Kentuckians together from cities and rural areas to find common ground in issues that matter most to people. The organization is now working to restore voting rights, advocate for legislation, and train a new generation for values-driven politics.
The program will also be offered virtually on zoom and FaceBook on April 15 at noon. Here is the link:https://www.facebook.com/SOJNLou
Third Thursday lunch is sponsored by Fellowship of Reconciliation and Sowers of Justice, two faith based advocacy groups that work for justice through education and action.
