Book Chatters: The Invention of Hugo Cabret
We'll "Zoom" this book group, which focuses on a different genre each month. In May we'll talk about "The Invention of Hugo Cabret" by Brian Selznick: This classic tells the story of 12-year-old orphan Hugo, who lives in the walls of a Paris train station at the turn of the 20th century, where he takes care of the clocks and depends on thieving and secrecy to survive. That all changes, however, when new people and circumstances threaten his way of live and embroil him in a fascinating mystery.
