Imagine selling or trading business or investment property, or even land, acquiring new real estate of any type and possibly deferring all federal capital gains tax, depreciation recapture tax and, in some states, the state capital gains tax. Many investors are profiting every day simply by using the exchange process. Learn to identify transactions that could qualify for 1031 Exchanges, understand basics of time frame and financing requirements and identify common pitfalls in order to protect your customers/clients.
Note: all participants MUST have a webcam and speakers. For the duration of class, each participant must be viewable by the moderator to receive education credit. Breaks will be taken throughout the course and questions will be taken through the chat feature at specific times. This course may include interactive content. At the conclusion of the course, an evaluation will be emailed and must be completed to receive education credit. The course will open for students approximately 30 minutes prior to start time.
