The Deming Lens: A New Way to View Your Business
W. Edwards Deming was a statistician and engineer who developed the sampling techniques still used today by the U.S. Census, helped Toyota become the world’s largest automaker, and helped Ford revamp its management style to become the most profitable American auto company. In recognition of his contributions to quality control, manufacturing, and management, President Reagan awarded Deming the National Medal of Technology in 1987. Mike will offer a brief overview of Deming concepts, work through several examples, and show you how to begin viewing your own business through a Deming lens.
A recording will be available later.
