Homeless Outreach in the Age of Covid
A webinar exploring church responses to homelessness in the winter of Coronavirus.
The Joint Public Issues Team and Housing Justice have teamed up to bring you a webinar on the effects of Covid-19 on homelessness outreach this winter, and to explore what churches can do to respond to homelessness when more traditional church responses are harder. This webinar is aimed at churches, faith groups and community organisers looking to change their approach to homelessness outreach this winter.

At the panel our guests will discuss the policy landscape surrounding homelessness and Coronavirus, and the impact on churches and faith groups doing outreach. What does homelessness outreach look like with social distancing? What if you can’t safely run a night shelter? How can organisers re-purpose volunteering power this winter so outreach is both safe and effective? What is the future of church responses to homelessness?

Join JPIT and Housing Justice for this webinar to begin to answer these questions and more.
