The CA-NV Conference UMW are hosting Dr. Karen Gedney, a prison doctor for 30 years, Matt Ochs, Reno High School history teacher and several student activists representing Washoe County School District Students for Change, Reno High School Black Student Union and Washoe County School District Diversity Our Narrative, for this event in which we learn about and are challenged to develop innovative strategies to end systemic racism and to interrupt the school to prison pipeline.
