Watercolor I: Postcard Etegami, 3 class series
This series is an introduction to the Japanese folk art of hand-made post cards. Etegami is a simple, in-the-moment inspiration, painted freehand. Make a simple drawing, use watercolor paint to embellish, and then write brief sentiment. No painting or drawing experience needed. Etegami empowers you to create your own paintings by hand, to share with family and loved ones. We take inspiration from the season, from what’s outside our window or in our hearts.

Supplies: Watercolor paper (10 sheets), watercolor pads, brushes, black marker, and 2 glasses of water. Supplies are available online, at local supply stores or from a kit available through Ralston for distribution for $10
