Human Rights in War – The Law of Armed Conflict
In recent months the issue of Human Rights in war-torn regions has become increasingly present. Especially considering the current situation one might ask how Human Rights standards are being upheld and enforced in the first place if there is an ongoing war.

This being the case, we warmly invite you to take part in the Passau Student Division’s upcoming hybrid-lecture with a follow up panel discussion:

„Human Rights in War - The Law of Armed Conflict“.

Speakers Prof. Dr. Robert Esser of the University of Passau and representatives of the US Army in Grafenwöhr will share their insights as well as experiences and look forward to a lively discussion with participants afterwards - whether it be in person (if possible) or virtually via Zoom.

This panel is open to everyone by free admission and will be held in English.
