Book Club: Frankenstein
This October, join us as we read Mary Shelley's famous Frankenstein. We will meet four times to discuss this chilling tale and some of the deeper moral themes at play. All meetings will be online, Wednesday evenings from 7:30-8:30pm. Bring a friend!

We will be using the Ignatius Critical Edition of Frankenstein, which can be purchased here through Amazon or Ignatius: https://www.ignatius.com/Frankenstein-P1149.aspx

For our first meeting, please read pages 1-62 & 219-231 ("The Spark of Life" Essay)
For our second meeting, please read pages 62-114
For our third meeting, please read pages 114-167
For our fourth and final meeting, please read: 167-216 & 233-242 ("Frankenstein as Mythic Tragedy" Essay)

*For those using a different version of the book, please follow the schedule below, and don't worry about the essays - we'll catch you up!
For our first meeting, please read up to and including Volume I, Chapter V.
For our second meeting, please read up to and including Volume II, Chapter V.
For our third meeting, please read up to and including Volume III, Chapter III.
For our fourth and final meeting, please finish Volume III.
