Communities for Refugees webinar - South West England

Community Sponsorship is a refugee resettlement programme enabling you to welcome a refugee family to your neighbourhood and support them as they settle in to their new life in the UK.

Rossella Pagliuchi-Lor, the UK’s UNHCR representative, described the programme in The Independent as “transformative” for refugee families and as a way for local volunteers to play a part in “the global solution to forced displacement.”

Join us on zoom to find out more about Community Sponsorship in the South West of England and how you can get involved.

We'll be hearing from people who've experienced Community Sponsorship.

The session will be led by Reset, the charity that trains and supports Community Sponsors across the UK, in collaboration with CHARIS Refugees and The Pickwell Foundation. The session will last 1 hour.
