This free two-hour meeting will look at the basics of civic engagement and brainstorm on how to do democracy and social justice in the time of fear, isolation, and danger. The facilitators are Tom Tresser, a civic educator and public defender (www.tresser.com) and co-founder of the CivicLab (www.civiclab.us) and long time organizer Jonathan Peck, President of the CivicLab. We will use the Breakout Room feature of Zoom for small group sharing and report-backs. We will also stick around for a 15 minute "After Party" for people who want to chill and unwind. Registration will be limited to 100 people so please do not register unless you seriously plan on attending. If you DO register and then your plans change - please let us know at email@example.com. We did the workshop on June 13 and you can view the resources from that session here: https://www.civiclab.us/civic-isolation. Thanks and blessings!
