Join us for the MicroLenders Forum is one of our favorite events of the year where we bring our lenders together to network, share ideas and build capacity.
Our gathering is more important given the crazy 18 months we have experienced. Our 2020 MicroLenders Forum was scheduled for the week before California shut down and was canceled by our host. It's long past due for us to meet again as a large group. As we're still living in a world of uncertainty because of the pandemic, we're hosting a virtual forum and hope you'll join us.
We'll have small and large group discussions about underwriting and risk management in a new reality in which we're living with the effects of COVID and a focus on racial justice. The Federal Reserve will present new California data from the Small Business Credit Survey, how it looks compared to national trends, and we'll discuss how that might affect how lenders react. Additionally, we've invited some high profile speakers who are at the forefront of small business policy at the state and national level. To close off the Forum, we're inviting our bankers to speak with you for a brown bag lunch in breakout rooms.
In addition to Scott Wu, Executive Director, IBank, who will be talking about Caliornia's SSBCI strategy, we are excited to announce that Therese Meers, Deputy Associate Administrator, Office of Capital Access, U.S. SBA will be joining us. Newly appointed, Ms. Meers will be talking about SBA"s priorities for the coming year and answering questions.
