Foster Youth Bill of Rights Rights and Reasonable and Prudent Parent Standard (September 1, 2022)

This training will be an interactive experience that teaches participants about the Foster Youth Bill of Rights and Reasonable and Prudent Parent Standard (RPPS). Participants will learn about the role and duties of the Office of the Foster Care Ombudsperson, the Foster Youth Bill of Rights, and Reasonable and Prudent Parent Standard. Participants will be empowered to make parenting decisions that uphold the rights and promote the positive development and well-being of youth in care. Participants will also know how to utilize the office as a resource to advocate for youth when a right has been violated.
