Becoming an FSI Volunteer
Are you a parent, guardian, or family member of an individual with a disability? Do you find yourself supporting others in community by sharing your experiences, skills, and knowledge? Would you like be connected to a larger provincial network of people such as yourself?

FSI volunteers are the heart and soul of Family Support Institute and help others by:
• Providing non-judgmental emotional support
• Sharing expertise and experiences
• Helping families research and access resources
• Assisting families to navigate systems
• Supporting families to become informed and empowered

If this role sounds like something you would like to learn more about please join this information session. We welcome all individuals regardless of background, orientation or ethnicity.

Family Support Institute of BC (FSI) is a provincial not-for-profit society committed to supporting families who have a family member with a disability.
FSI is unique in Canada and the only grassroots family to family organization that has a broad volunteer base.
