Becoming an FSI Volunteer

Are you a parent, guardian, or family member of an individual with a disability? Do you find yourself supporting others in community by sharing your experiences, skills, and knowledge? Would you like be connected to a larger provincial network of people such as yourself?

FSI volunteers are the heart and soul of Family Support Institute and help others by:
• Providing non-judgmental emotional support
• Sharing expertise and experiences
• Helping families research and access resources
• Assisting families to navigate systems
• Supporting families to become informed and empowered
