Improv is unscripted comedy: “moment-to-moment” discovery and flexibility. Truth: Everyone improvises every single-day, but only few improvise well. Why? We don’t listen to each other, nor acknowledge how we feel, and we fail to see the merit in others’ ideas. We’ve convinced ourselves that our ideas just aren’t good enough. Comedy Improv works to curb those bad habits through its self-empowering philosophy: Yes, And... “Yes” is about embracing ideas and the circumstance you are in. “And” is about capitalizing on your situation. No prior experience needed and no need to be a “funny person,” nor an actor. All you’ll need is willingness and bravery to learn and laugh no matter what. Come improvise and learn to be confident, creative and collaborative by finding the fullest potential in what is readily available.
