An Academic Toolkit for Understanding and Controlling Corruption
What is corruption, and what are some useful frameworks for thinking about the practice? Over the course of a two-hour session, we will explore these and related questions. Participants will be encouraged to think of corruption as a pathology that reduces government legitimacy, affects the quality of public service delivery, and biases policy decisions in favor of special interests. Ultimately, the goal of this course is to offer a grounded sense of the potential that exists for advancement. Good governance is possible.
