Recovery Jobs for Beginners ECHO mentorship

JOIN US TO RECEIVE MENTORSHIP AS YOU EMBARK ON CAREERS IN THE RECOVERY FIELD!​

WHO: People in recovery, affected​ others, and allies who live or work in these counties: Aroostook​, Franklin, Hancock, Kennebec, Knox, Oxford, Piscataquis, Somerset, Waldo, and Washington​.

WHAT: This 12-part, virtual series will connect participants in recovery with mentorship opportunities as they seek and embark on jobs in behavioral health careers. Designed for people with lived experience, affected others and allies, these sessions will provide short lessons and lots of discussion time. Participants will bring their questions and challenges to a group of mentors who are currently or have previously undergone applying for, obtaining, and sustaining rewarding work experiences in mental health and substance use disorder fields. Get help with everything from transportation to your interviews/jobs to advancing your recovery journey during this series.

WHEN:​ monthly 4th Thursday evenings (with some holiday exceptions) from 5:30pm - 6:30pm​ throughout 2023.
