Computer Radiograpy and Digital Radiograpy Technology in Industry
Chattanooga State and DURR-NDT will conduct an On-line presentation on the advances in industrial radiography from the development of computer Radiograpy and Digital Radiograpy. The impact of computers in nondestructive testing has been as revolutionary as in all other industries.

From its inception radiography images were made on film then manually developed in a chemical process that progressed to semi-automatic. Now we have the advantage of Computer and digital radiography that has revolutionized the capability of this nondestructive testing method and the ease of communicating images among interested parties. Additionally, storage issues associated with film are eliminated as these images are stored digitally as any other computer files.
