The third program in the Faith, Freedom in Action Series will feature stories of conscience and courage in the face of the HIV / AIDS pandemic in the 1980s in Washington DC and Dallas. Quaker Joseph Izzo and Episcopal Reverend Canon Ted Karpf will recount their experiences in this difficult time.
Two additional programs will be offered weekly through June 11, 2020. The series will lift up and honor stories of courageous individuals who put their faith into action to help others during pandemics, from 1721 until today. Healthcare providers, teachers, students, clergy, congregants, local elected officials, lifelong learners, and advocates will find the series informative and inspirational.
