Is your organization committed to elevating diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI)? Are you stymied by feeling unsure of how best to launch this work and thoughtfully integrating these values in all you do? This interactive workshop series can help you gain clear planning support for launching a committee to steward your DEI work. If your organization recently launched a DEI committee or is interested in forming one, this series is for you. Organizations that do not have DEI committees in place are strongly encouraged to have 2 representatives at each session. Registered organizations* are expected to join for the full series since the workshops build off each other.
Each workshop is 2 hours long and will include activities such as small group breakouts, collective analysis of pitfalls and case studies, and opportunities for planning and peer feedback. All participants need to have attended or viewed the recording of TREC’s Change Team Webinar on February 17th before attending this workshop series, and should expect to spend approximately 1 hour of independent preparation for each session. To preserve confidentiality and due to the interactive nature of these workshops, sessions will not be recorded or archived on TREC’s website.
