SFS Monthly Community Call - February 2021

Join us to connect with the #SustFashScotland community and explore ways forward together.

It’s been 1 year since our in-person networking launch event at ApparelXchange in February 2020, and to celebrate a year of SFS we are hosting another (online) networking session to connect with new faces and reconnect with familiar ones.

How can we connect and empower each other?

The past year has been challenging and lonely for us all in different ways. And yet, we know that when we connect with like-minded others we gain feelings of empowerment and agency as we learn of the inspiring local action happening on our doorstep and remember we are not alone in our sustainability efforts. Our goal for this year is to go beyond facilitating connections to enabling more coordinated action, collaborations across perspectives, and open sharing of knowledge and resources, kicked off by the collaborative goal-setting workshop we hosted in January.

There will be no guest facilitator leading this Community Call. Instead, we are trying out a different format using breakout rooms so you can chat to and get inspired by others working on the ground in Scotland’s fashion landscape. Everyone is welcome and we are looking forward to having more informal conversations led by your experiences, challenges, projects and aspirations for a sustainable future.

Come along to meet new faces and reconnect with familiar ones, and to learn about how SFS will be working to enable community-led collective action in 2021.

The SFS Community Call is held on the last Thursday of every month and provides a space to connect and discuss current topics within the #SustFashScotland community.
