During this California Tribal Energy and Climate Exchange (TECX) meeting, the California Tribal Gap Analysis (CTGA) team will share the CTGA funding opportunities database and provide grant writing tips, tools, templates, and other resources for Tribes to pursue climate and energy goals. As part of our standing agenda, we will provide a CTGA update and TECX participants will share and discuss other energy and climate information, resources, and opportunities relevant to Tribes as well as discuss future TECX meeting topics.
TECX meetings are hosted by the California Tribal Gap Analysis (CTGA) project team. Regular TECX meetings are being launched to exchange knowledge, resources, input, and opportunities to help California Tribes pursue their energy and climate goals. California Tribes and those who work with CA Tribes on energy and climate goals are welcome to participate in these interactive meetings.
The purpose of the California Tribal Gap Analysis is to identify tribal priorities, needs, and barriers in the areas of clean energy and climate change adaptation and resilience and provide recommendations for the development and enhancement of State programs, funding, technical assistance, and other support to address tribal needs and priorities. The CTGA also seeks to advance collaboration and build relationships between Tribes and State agencies to support current and future Tribal-State partnerships and grant programs. All California Native American Tribes, regardless of recognition status, are invited to participate.
