Put your emotive expression into shapes, textures, and colors. An invitation to move, dance, and free-form painting and drawing as your creativity and expression emerge in each moment. Guided by the DM Emotion Spiral map and selected music, we will create space for expression with our movement, brushes, and pencils. Let the dance guide you to your canvas and create your own unique healing masterpiece.
What you need
* Blank sheet of papers or art notebook
* Pencils and or pens for drawing and colored crayons, pencils, pastel sticks for coloring
* Any kind of paints you use or have and a paintbrush or two (bring some old clothes if you want to paint)
* Enough space to move, draw or paint
The session will start with an introduction and movement warm-up then we will move into the main part and finish with sharing circle and reflection.
About Areeradh K Tri-siddha
Areeradh is a qualified yoga teacher with over 12 years of experience teaching in the field of embodiment movement, yoga and meditation, all of which have been integrated into the core of her own practice. In the past 11 years, at her yoga center and studio in Chiang Mai, Areeradh has instructed, facilitated and hundreds of classes and circles for wellness and self-transformation. Among these were countless DANCEmandala, She-Wisdom and movement circles. In her teacher training programme, Areeradh combined intuitive dance, yoga, songs, healing light rituals, arts (colouring, drawing, painting, poetry, flowers mandala making), meditation, mindfulness, and deep listening techniques together to create a sacred, interactive and integrative space for participants. Her approach to meditation is simplicity in observation. Breathing and body’s sensation awareness, Vipassana or insight meditation as well as affirmation techniques are all included in her practice and offering.
