The nationally-adopted Standards of Quality for Family Strengthening & Support from the National Family Support Network are designed to be used by all Family Strengthening and Support stakeholders - public departments, foundations, community-based organizations, and families - as a tool for planning, providing, and assessing quality services. The vision is that their implementation will help ensure that families are supported and strengthened through quality practice.
Participants from Programs are highly encouraged to come as teams with Executive Directors, Managers, Coordinators, and Direct Service Staff, as each has a key role to play in implementing the Standards effectively.
Participants who complete the course evaluation and required in-class materials, attend the full training, and pass the open-book quiz will receive a certificate from the National Family Support Network that is valid for two years.
The training will begin promptly each day - latecomers will not be admitted. You must attend all portions of both days of training.
Important registration information:
- This training is highly interactive - you will need to have audio and video active for the entire training and actively participate.
- Due to limited capacity, registration is only open to California teams.
- This training will not be recorded.
