Workshop – Collective Sponsorship (April 19 and 26, May 3)

This workshop is aimed at guarantors or caseworkers and will address the principles of a successful sponsorship relationship (expectations, ethics), the elements to be put in place before the 12th month and the preparation of the end of the undertaking ("the 13th month"). The steps to apply will also be discussed in preparation for the May 9 to June 6, 2023 transmission period.

The workshop will be offered in 3 online sessions from 6pm to 8pm:

April 19
Part 1: Overview of the sponsorship process

April 26
Part 2: Arrival in Quebec until the end of the undertaking year

May 3
Part 3: Guarantors and sponsored persons, inter-relational, intercultural and ethical issues

The workshop will be facilitated by Hugo Ducharme of Jesuit Refugee Service Canada, Sylvain Thibault, former TCRI Sponsorship Coordinator and Julia Tischer of TCRI.
