Design Sprint: Population Health Management
Dynamo’s Health & Social Care Tech Cluster would like to invite innovative SMEs, VCSEs, academics and Health & Social Care professionals to get involved in their Population Health Management Design Sprint, taking place on Wednesday 26 May, 9:30am – 2:30pm.

As a nation, we currently face great health challenges such as rising level of diabetes, misuse of alcohol, high obesity levels and increasing numbers of deaths related to cardiovascular diseases. There is a lot of data on poor ‘Population Health’ in the North East compared to the rest of the country, with the healthy life expectancy in the North East consistently found to be below the national average.

This fast-paced design sprint style session, facilitated by cluster partner CGI, will consider the potential root causes of why the North East is falling behind the nation’s average health and wellbeing levels. We will explore the personas affected by poor population health and start the ideation process of digital solutions, debating the following questions:

• How might we overcome health inequalities and fundamentally shift the health outcomes for the people of our community?
• How can ensure that those who are digitally excluded aren’t left behind?

Following the session, participants will be tasked with formulating their ideas independently, before finally pitching them to a panel of experts from CGI, the Integrated Care System and innovation funding, at Dynamo’s Annual Conference on 17 June.

This event is open to everyone including North East SME's to help support business innovation.

This event is part of the Catalysing Innovation in North East Clusters project, delivered by the Innovation SuperNetwork and part-funded by ERDF.
