Join us Jul. 21, 5-6 p.m. for a virtual Social Justice Education Workshop with alumna and educator, Shaniqua Choice ’13.
In this workshop, participants will have an opportunity to explore diversity, equity, & inclusion in the context of the Berkshires while reflecting on personal identity to create positive social change in their community.
Pre-registration is required. A limited number of seats are available. Please register by Jul. 20.
This program is highly participatory. As part of the curriculum, breakout rooms will be utilized as well as discussion questions and activities. Please be sure you have the latest version of Zoom downloaded and test your mic and camera prior to joining the meeting.
Shaniqua Choice ’13 is an educator at the Community Charter School of Cambridge where she teaches US History and Modern World History. Prior to her current role, Shaniqua was a MATCH Corps tutor and Sposato Graduate School of Education Fellow. Shaniqua is dedicated to teaching rigorous content and holding her students to the highest expectations.
