Cyber Scotland Week- Online scams: how to spot them and what to do

It can be really hard to spot a scam that comes through your email or pops up when you’re on a website. Cyber criminals are constantly changing their scams to try to trick people and it can be difficult to stay updated on what to look out for. This webinar will provide an accessible introduction into the murky world of scams, both online and through email. We’ll look at how we can identify scams, and what we can do to avoid scams in the first place. At the end of the webinar, there will be an optional practical element, where everyone can put into practice what they’ve learned in the webinar.
