THIS IS A HYBRID EVENT: To attend VIRTUALLY, complete the registration form below. To attend IN PERSON at boohoo's distribution site in Burnley, please register at https://www.chamberelancs.co.uk/events/hr-forum-sponsored-by-forbes-july-2021/. Please note that there are only 30 physical places available, which will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
At this event, we'll hear from Emma Swan of sponsors Forbes on the HR issues raised as we unlock - including vaccines policies, return to work, relaxation of social distancing and the mental and physical health concerns caused by COVID.
Ruth Walsh, Head of HR Operations at boohoo will explain boohoo’s current processes and challenges and unveil a unique trailblazing approach to the apprenticeship levy.
We’ll also be joined by Burnley Borough Council CEO Mick Cartledge and Dean of UCLan at Burnley Dharma Kovvuri, who’ll be speaking about a consortium of Lancashire organisations that are working together to help local businesses develop their workforce and retain funding with the County.
The Lancashire Levy Transfer Network has been set up to allow large organisations who pay the apprenticeship levy to transfer unspent funds to non-levy paying smaller businesses so they can benefit from apprenticeship training at a much lower cost.
The in-person event will begin at 0900, with online content streaming from 0930 - 1100.
