First impressions mean everything. In 2021, these initial impressions will be made online in many cases. Information posted on the internet about you can either help or hurt you, depending on what exactly comes up when your name is Google'd.
For teenagers and young people- this online first impression is even more critical to your future success. College admission officers, potential employers, insurance companies, financial institutions, and even potential dates are regularly searching for young people to determine and judge what kind of person they are.
In this workshop, we will discuss 1.) The consequences of an online reputational misstep- and how to fix them when necessary 2.) Protecting your privacy and professional image, even at a young age and 3.) Enhancing your online reputation by actively removing negative posts and content and 4.) Controlling your online reputation by posting and promoting positive content.
