Aging Life Care Manager® (ALCMs) are uniquely positioned to share evidence-based information about urinary incontinence with aging adults and their families. Annemarie Dowling-Castronovo, a GNP on the Palliative Care Team at Staten Island University Hospital, Northwell Health, revealed the Grounded Theory of Regaining Control...illuminating how older people respond to new-onset urinary incontinence during hospitalization. She publishes on urinary incontinence, is a member of the editorial board for Urological Nursing Journal, and most importantly, she practices healthy bladder behavior skills because – they work. Aging Life Care Association SW CPE is recognized by the New York State Education Department's State Board for Social Work as an approved provider of continuing education for licensed social workers, #0166.

This program is approved for 1.5 contact hours by the National Academy of Certified Care Managers (NACCM).

Based on the regulations of the NYSED for social work CEU approval, all participants who are seeking social work CEUs must signed-in for the entire presentation as well as submit an evaluation form to obtain the full 1.5 CEU hours.
