As we hear more and more about anti-bias & anti-racism (ABAR) in education, it is important that we take time to consider what it actually means to embed this essential framework into our personal and professional lives. The impact of doing this important work will secure equitable education outcomes for ALL students. Therefore, we must learn how to get started, how to sustain the work, and how to use an ABAR framework to eradicate biased and racist practices and policies from the education system. In this session, we will explore answers to those topics and so much more.
Following this session, Dr. Mayes invites participants to join her in a 14 day Racial Justice Challenge.
