We’re often led to believe that a partnership with a commercial businesses could be the silver bullet to all our financial woes in the community sector. While this may not be the exact truth, there are certainly opportunities for small, voluntary and community organisations to benefit from working with local and larger businesses. This session will use real life examples to help build your confidence to approach local businesses for support and help you to understand the value that you provide to these businesses in return.
This session will be led by Alison Sheffield who currently works for Social Farms & Gardens and has been building mutually beneficial connections between the voluntary and private sectors for the last 8 years.
You will need to register for this event in advance. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
We will be recording this session, which we may share later online. If you don’t wish to be in the recording please keep your camera off and yourself on mute. Please be aware your name as it appears on Zoom will be visible to others and may be visible in a recording if you are unmuted
