An overview of the Underused Housing Tax
We will provide a detailed summary of what the Underused Housing Tax entails, the types of properties it applies to, and who it applies to. Presenters will also discuss how the tax is calculated, as well as an overview of available exemptions. Information will also be provided regarding the requirements for filing a UHT return (the 2022 return is due May 1, 2023), and the potential penalties for not filing.
